Coleman stove probles

iv got a colmen 533, i can only get full flame or no flame. its got a new geny on it. any ideas? Question

Mine's the same mate. Seems it's only good for boiling a kettle. I get a bit fed up holding the pots and pans 4" above the flame to cook. No

is that the twin or single one? reason i ask is if the other ring works? if not have you tryed red x in it?

Are you sure the wire inside the genny is correctly hitched up with the tap? Can be quite fiddly to get right.

I would drain it completely and take the genny off and pump it up to create pressure and see if the valve works correctly as the valve might be dirty or some form of seal perished. if this is ok, as mentioned put it back together ensuring the wire is correctly connected to the valve top..

I always use BP ultimate and add a drop of redex, since doing this both my colemans work perfectly.
