Sandhurst Lake

Post by Onslow on Fri Aug 17, 2012 6:43 am

I'm doing this weekend on there, how did it fish for Stoney last weekend? Did lots of bait go in?

Also any tips on how to fish it would be brilliant!!!!! clown

Find the deepest spot you can, put bait in it....done. Sit back have a brewski and watch the bobbins. It really is that easy. king

I wish it was LOL

Fished pretty poor for the Stoney event. The lake has a lot of weed in it, mainly infront of islands and pipes. Fish were reluctant to leave the weed. Only one fish was caught on the road bank. 2 from pipes, 3 from car park and one other.

similar for the Young V old.

peg 12 (i think) did 5 fish (to 29). carp park 2, peg 11, 10, 8 did a fish each.

pipes did 6 bites, 2nd pipes did 2 fish, the swim behind the island did a fish, right hand island did scaley @35 and boxy had two (21 and 19) from the middle bailiffs.

Not great bud, I lost one Saturday night in the margin. Other than that I think 4 or maybe 5 twenties came out.

Best bet is to call YAC and ask how many people are on for the weekend you have in mind
