COCONUT MILK

Post by Danny on Tue Aug 14, 2012 8:33 pm

Has anyone used this with a spod mix, thinking of adding this to my pigeon conditioner misx to cloud the water a bit?

If your mix is quite wet use Nesquik powder in strawberry.

Evaporated milk is something people used to use a lot years ago largely for tench. I have thought about using it and I'm sure I will one day!

i have tried coconut milk, condensed milk and the standard stuff. condensed milk always out performed the others.

although i have been told on numerous occasions that, after blood, milk is the best thing for depleting dissolved oxygen in water. that has always played on my mind when using the stuff so i have always been sparing when using it.

i guess at the end of the day it cant put carp off that much otherwise you wouldnt catch them on it.

I always used to make sure I had a tin or two of condensed milk in my spod mix when fishing for Tench or Bream, worked wonders. In fact I haven't used it for a while, thanks for the reminder Smile

I never really use a spod in my carp fishing so haven't tried it, but I'm sure it would be worth a go. You get a really lovely cloud in the water column so might work well over zigs, if you're that way inclined of course...

tried it but didnt have anything but it was probably more to do with the green algae that was on the top.. didnt realise it was like actual milk though and will definately be using it again though well impressed.
