Carping ambitions for next year

Post by Bigbadjon on Thu Dec 27, 2012 10:32 pm

What are your targets for the new year guys and gals?

Mine is to beat the otters to catching the biggie from my low stock Cambs pit, the clock is ticking Sad

Hi, my target is to go fishing more than last year, testing out all my new bait and glug/dip flavours I make up myself.

and land a good carp from a very hard water on my list, having seen them, but cannot catch them.

here is one of them

Mine is to just enjoy my time out angling and hopefully catch a few nice fish along the way.

I've been tempted to find a lake with no carp in and float fish it.

Not to stop carp fishing but to remember the excitement of watching the float Bob under and not know what the culprit causing it is

I took my son during the summer and sat behind the buzzers whilst he was on the whip, I think I was more excited than he was half the time.

YES, got to agree our rivers and canals are under fished, and need a closer look, for those free swimming carp.

have seen them in the new river and lea, also the Thames carpers are doing very well.

you mean giant rats, just move them on , they are only vermin anyway, destroying, and doing no good what so ever.

funny there are not many on trout or salmon club/syndicate waters, strange that.

That's it, if your not effected now then you will be soon! That's if the Eastern Europeans don't beat them to it, sad state of affairs Sad
