GOOD MORNING ENGLAND

Post by HAPPYANGLERALEX on Wed Dec 12, 2012 10:11 am

good morning ENGLAND,
freezing fog
north Korean rocket
London population changed
NI solicitor murdered by security forces
FSA horror and poison gas
heating prices up.
nhs drama lack of care
spice old gals rubbish
build on green belt
Sikh guardsman no bearskin
end of world
gay marriage

Is there any good news?

and this smart guy, reminds me of my army days.

not if you were from the Punjab Very Happy anyway its all part of the fabric of society, Very Happy just check out the news from around the planet, its grim out there.

The latest "buzz word" is now "integration" a la ed miliband, whose family fled persecution.

the great mystery is who has to integrate with whom Question

Apparently London has fallen, to the new chaps from over seas.

as for myself, in sleepy hertfordshire, its all peace and calm on the fishing lake. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

"simple minds are easy pleased" beats being educated to whats going around you.

what is really happening is quite simple, its the law of nature, "the weak go to the wall and are replaced by the strong"

The "Ethnic English" having shown a lack of interest in their own affairs, and push now becoming shove, having kissed London goodbye, and the rest of the country to follow, in the future, as the seal is set.

one reason is quite simple [quiz] which is the only country in Europe without its own-
Parliament
Law
Bill of rights
Constitution.

its called evolution and the survival of the fittest [read the book].

Whatever our personal views on immigration/intergration etc can we please all remember this forum is run by an Official Macmillan Committee. In this respect we need to be politically correct.

More importantly, cancer does not choose individuals by their colour, belief or country of origen!!

chris63,

Hi, sorry, but could you explain what PC means, and how/what events have to be reported,

Here is an example-I believe as do many others, that some overseas aid [IE space program India and some African dictatorships] is best spent on the NHS and cancer research trying to find the golden bullet that will eliminate the cancer gene from DNA.

And as there are over 200 types it is a uphill struggle.

Please point out the non politically correct content in that as a guide line to posters.

Also, NOBODY has suggested that, the terrible disease of cancer, chooses its victims as above, that is OUTRAGEOUS.

Cancer has no boundaries but life style can have an influence.

Everybody knows somebody that has been affected, my own father died from cancer, [ASBESTOS] as have several of my friends and acquaintances, and the fantastic work done by research and support groups, some 4,000 is well known.

So by posting real time events and comments, featuring real events in our daily lives, this is not sinister but life going on, and some aspects need our attention, and will ATTRACT posters who may attend money raising events.

"Stoney and Friends" is a noble volunteer organisation, as is the Macmillan cancer support group, and the more people/anglers that join and post, the more they may be informed and attracted to the money raising events.

People will only post if they feel they are able to, and most people are decent beings, and well know the boundaries of banter.

I hope this explains what may be a mistaken "take" on your part.

Anyway, if it is deemed that only angling/fishing/carping/ is to be posted, I will be happy to conform.

keep well,

HAA. You can email me if you wish.

I am responding to your post here and not by private message so both the other moderators can see what i've said, and so all forum members hopefully take on board this is a site run by a committe dedicated to a worthy charity and hence the need for the correct ethos to apply at all times.

My post was clear in its meaning and you know exactly what I was getting at. No-one has posted anything incorrect yet, but the inferences of what is being said could lead to unacceptable posts.

You seem to have a desire to be controversial in some of your posts. I do not know your educational background, nor that of any other member, but I get the impression you have the intelligence to know exactly what could happen with some of your posts.

This forum does not want to carry controversial discussions or ones that are open to missinterpretation.

All I asked was that members accept this. I and the other moderators want this to be an open forum but only in as much as sensible debates take place that should not be deemed offensive to anyone.

"Also, NOBODY has suggested that, the terrible disease of cancer, chooses its victims as above, that is OUTRAGEOUS". In no way was my comment OUTRAGEOUS as I did not accuse anyone of saying this - i was just emphasising the fact that Cancer affects all and thus as a MacMillan site we should not be discussing immigration/intergration of whatever you were trying to infer - this is just another example of you trying to be confrontational.

If you have the intelligence some of your posts suggest, you will take on board my comments in the way they were meant and post appropriately.

chris63,

thanks for reply, as for my educational background, I left Eton many years ago, and just try to merge in and live it down. Very Happy

Do not blame me for comments [integration] blame ed miliband he said it I just repeated it, sorry about that.

as for being "controversial" being bland, is perhaps the way to go.

So I will take note of your comments, and only reply to appropriate posts as they appear.

As for your web site and its ethos and reason for its existence, it is a noble cause, and good luck with it.

ANOTHER EXCELLENT DAY.

Post by HAPPYANGLERALEX on Tue Dec 18, 2012 6:48 pm

Had a very busy day today,

went to the local pound shop to buy the family xmas food, got into a row with the proprietor, as he accused me of shoplifting as a £1 out of date jar of pickled eggs fell into my jogging trousers pocket, so I stormed out.

But joy of joys just down the high street (what’s left of it) found a new outlet, "less than a pound", and went in clutching my xmas list.

It was full of ex bankers and the like, keen for a bargain.

Picked up more than enough tinned food to last to the new year for a fiver.

Had lunch in wetherspoons, curry, pint, a Viagra pill all for £5 (oap), a bargain.
Went shopping in Lidls, met some nice polish people who advised me on sausage.

Passed the job center on way to wonga, looked in, full of ex bankers, so sad, the guy behind the desk, who spoke very good English, asked me if I was looking for work, and I slowly backed out of the door.

Wonga lent me £25 at 5000% interest, nice, will see me well into new year.

Went home, it’s amazing what the council can do with old railway carriages, and fed the cat, no idea who it belongs to.

The Salvation Army had left me a collection bag for unwanted clothing, etc. and a nice east European guy collected it.

The local carol singers came and banged on my door, but as I had turned my lights out, they moved on, looking for richer pickings.

Booked a visit from the local Jehovah witness lot, just to see what they are all about.

All in all a good day and will watch telly program tonight about "disgusting bodies" may be interesting.

Another exciting day tomorrow, may visit, Aldi looking at fishing tackle..

HAA

Hi HAA

Firstly, with regards to your response to my '£1 fish' post.
If i hit a nerve then accept my apologies, if you were angling for a bite, tut tut! and if i have missed the point entirely then have a good chuckle on my account.

Secondly, having read your latest post it would seem you were very lucky today as the media have reported that distraction burglars have now taken to knocking on doors disguised as carol singers .

All the best,

Vince

vince or may I call you "vinny" [good fella]

I thought the £1 fish song sums,up brilliantly our wonderful country, well done.

as for burglars, I had one once, and he left me cash and a apology.

my aim in life is to raise myself up to pleb level, and be famous.

My PPI guy has not phoned me lately offering me a fortune, I do miss him.

had to evict a family of wood mice from my garage, as they were nesting next to the warm motor of fridge, and eating more than me, and into my fishing gear, so I went in there and did a mouse exorcism, and they left.

anyway must get out and about for some of that £1 fish,

HAA

FANTASTIC NEWS

Post by HAPPYANGLERALEX on Wed Dec 19, 2012 2:16 pm

FANTASTIC NEWS

More of our brave soldiers are coming home/pulling out from Afghan

Britain to bring home 3,800 troops from Afghanistan in 2013 after ministers agree on withdrawal blueprint

Prime Minister David Cameron agreed move with President Obama last night
Numbers will be reduced to a token force by 2014

As millions of people in the UK felt they should not be there in the first place, its fantastic news.

On the day the last service person leaves Afghan and lets that flawed country fight its own battles will be a day for celebration.

So keep your heads down, and get home safe and well done.
