Top Five Films

Post by Kevin on Tue Oct 16, 2012 12:04 pm

Just for a bit of fun - mine would be (in no particular order)

Groundhog Day - just perfect, clever story, Bill Murray at his all time best, funny as hell

Monty Python and the Holy Grail - just has to be in there

Goodfellas - slick, but not galmorised, and some proper memorable/quotable scenes ("I'm funny how, exactly?" Smile )

Sweeney Todd - the Tim Burton version - brutal, but brilliantly shot and acted

Blues Brothers - who doesn't love this one?

so what's yours?

Superbad - if i need to laugh then this goes on.
Rock'n'Rolla - liked it more than snatch or lock stock. and cool as you like.
Full metal jacket - pretty sure this is totally inaccurate as far as war goes but the story is great and no one does it like stanley kubrick.
Gladiator - nothing needs to be said here.
Pulp fiction - again do i need to explain?

forest gump is a great shout.

would also put 7 pounds in there too. not many modern films have that good a plot.
